Trail Overview
This overlanding route brings you through part of the beautiful Kananaskis area, you will be greeted by countless mountain views, a nice gravel road, and plenty of hiking trails all along the way. There are lots of viewpoints and creeks, you can expect a lot of wildlife from birds to bears and many others. This is a fairly popular route so expect other traffic, some tight corners, and semi narrow parts of the road but still two vehicles wide. Please note this route is closed between December 1st to May 15th every year and requires a conservation pass for the park, which can be bought online at https://www.alberta.ca/kananaskis-conservation-pass.
