Trail Overview

This is an out-and-back forest road. The entire trail is gravel and very easy to ride. However, there are several beautiful views that make it worth the run. Near the horse camp is a really nice view of the Lower Tamarack River, and a short walking path will take you down to it. In addition, near the boat ramp on Rock Lake is a very beautiful scenic location of the entire lake. A panorama photo is definitely necessary here. The trail also has convenient parking at the trailhead off of Grace Lake Road.

Difficulty

This is mostly a 1 with a few sections that are a 2. The trail between the horse campground and the regular campground is maintained but low, so water stands after a rain.
