Trail Overview

The start of the trail is through private land. Once you come out of private land, about 0.5 miles, there is a rutted section then a rock obstacle. After that, the trail steadily climbs towards the top, with a lot of loose rock. About 0.25 miles from the top, the road turns into a shelf road, and at the end of the road, there is a locked gate. There is not much room to turn around at the gate.

At tree line (12,000'), the road has a lot of loose rock and some steep climbs.

Dry tail. A lot of loose rock and some gradient changes especially the second half of the trail. I can see water causing the tail to become more technical. I tasted it a 5/10 but could be a 4/10. Just need the right rig and patience crawling.

Access Description

From the north side of the town of Alma, turn left onto County Road 6, continue to Quartzville Road, and follow up the hill to the end, which turns into Roberts Road. Go about 50 yards to Crest Road, then turn left onto Mt. Lincoln Road. There is a sign there indicating private property, which you will travel through for a short ways.
