American Hill Mine

Trail Overview

Starts with a downhill section that can be slippery in the snow. The trail offers multiple areas with stunning views. There are a couple of large, long washes on the trail, which can be mostly avoided. If you do have to traverse them, the ditch is only about 12 inches deep. The trail is mostly single-wide, but there are sections that are double-wide and areas where you can pull off or turn around. It crosses a small private property that leads to the American Hill Mine. The trail ends in a large dispersed camp area nestled in the trees at the end of the ridge. From the camp spot, you can see multiple canyons and rides.
