Trail Overview

This short, out-and-back trail takes you to a second Virgin River Gorge overlook. This trail is not quite as easy as the Virgin River Gorge Overlook 1 trail. This one is a little less defined and has loose rocky patches towards the end. The trail appeared to continue down the hill towards the river, but it looked a little more challenging than a level 3 rating. There is a turnaround spot at the top of the hill.

The very beginning is rocky and has some ruts. You do cross on small dry water crossing that could be an issue for long wheelbase vehicles. The rest is a shelf road that has been grated. Nice views. Small turn around at end.
