Trail Overview

Cold Springs is a well-maintained road that connects Soapstone Pass to Silver Meadows. The drive is short and scenic with no major obstacles in the road, but views all around as you traverse through meadows that tend to have wildflowers depending on the time of year. This road is two vehicles wide with enough room to comfortably pass. The trail doesn't have a closing date but is inaccessible during the winter due to deep snow and usually is open early to late June, depending on the snow levels, and will be inaccessible due to snow starting mid to late November.
