Trail Overview
After visiting the river on the Sevier River Access trail, we ventured into another part of this wildlife area, going up onto hills and down into draws before eventually crossing a draw that holds water in the spring and returning to the Sevier River Access trail. It's common to see deer, coyotes, rabbits, squirrels, bald eagles, and other birds in this area. In places, the trail was barely visible and we followed the tracks of a previous vehicle that had gone through there. In February of 2023, Utah began enforcement of a new law, which requires an online education course for all off-roaders. The free course is available online. Google "Utah OHV Education Course," and the free test will pop up. It's an easy test that will only take 15-30 minutes, and it's required for all off-roaders, Jeeps, SXSs, dirt bikes, and ATVs. Kids under the age of 18 will have to take the Youth Education Test at the same site. After completing the test, print out the certificate to carry with you which shows you completed the course. We have taken it, and it's really no big deal. Good reminders about trail etiquette and trail preservation.

Difficulty
Early in the springtime, this trail will be muddy in places, and there may be running water through some of the draws. Otherwise, it's an easy trail. We crossed a draw that was dry by mid-June, but it particularly looked like it had been wet in recent weeks.
