Main Road

Trail Overview

Main Road is the formal entrance into the Paulk's Pasture WMA with a game check station and planted dove field. The connection to Highway 25 has a tall radio tower, making it easy to spot from the highway. The road splits early, so stay to the left going in to stay on Main Road. The surface is primarily packed sand with some areas that soften in dry weather, and is generally two vehicles wide. The eastern end of Main Road travels through several swampy areas filled with Water Tupelo trees. Main Road provides access to many of the other trails within Paulk's Pasture WMA. Please note signage as you enter the area, requiring a valid hunt/fish license or Lands Pass to enter.
