Trail Overview
The trail starts and ends on loose gravel. The center section of the trail is mainly comprised of 2-track hard pack natural dirt. There are several large 'whoops', ruts, and washouts along the center section where additional ground clearance would be preferred. The center section has the potential to become very muddy after heavy rainfall. The center section of the trail also has the potential to have downed trees and limbs blocking or obstructing the trail. It would be a good idea to carry a chainsaw, especially after a high wind event. The beginning and end sections offer plenty of room to pass other vehicles, and there are a few suitable places to dispersed camp along the trail. The trail offers some nice views of the area and goes from open rolling plains to sparsely wooded areas.
