Trail Overview
This is a main trail that will be accessed by many from the Bessey Recreation Center. The trail is short but caution should be used by those with a rooftop tent or a top-heavy vehicle as this trail will put you off-camber. The trail is very narrow with soft and deep sand. The trail also has a few areas where there are sloped berms and dunes on both sides which will put you at off-camber angles. The trail has areas of erosion, overgrowth, and minor washouts and ruts. There are limited places to pass and there are no suitable places to disperse camp. This trail will lead you to a paved road 86B that can be used to check out the Scott Lookout Tower or access other trails in the area.
