Trail Overview
This nearly 19-mile scenic route skirts the base of the Old Woman Mountains Wilderness' northwest boundary and provides incredible views of the Fenner Valley below. As you traverse the base of the mountain range on two-track, you'll encounter numerous washes, cattle, and myriad creosote bushes. You'll find a large spot with a rock fire ring just north of the airstrip at the NW corner of the trail's intersection with Skeleton Pass Road.
Difficulty
Very easy for high clearance 4x4s, but it is only one car width wide along the entire trail. The washes might present a bit of a challenge for long wheelbase vehicles due to somewhat steep entries and exits.
