181-D

Trail Overview

Trail 181-D is a lot like Trail C. It connects off of 181-C, circles around, and connects to the end of 181-A. This is a smooth and fun ATV loop that makes a great start to any ride in the Houston Valley ORV Area. The trail surface is mostly packed dirt, with gravel and small rocks pushed off to the sides, leaving a clean path for fast riding. It rolls along the hillside with a series of dips, shallow ruts, and mellow rollers. The trail is dug out a foot below the forest floor, and a few sharp corners keep things interesting. It passes through a beautiful, unique forest with a mossy floor and a mix of southern pine.

This is an easy ATV trail with minimal features such as sharp corners, waterbars, and minimal rock, making it ideal for riders of any skill level. There is potential for a few surprise mud holes.
