Trail Overview
This is a dirt-based forest road that is narrow and two-track. There are ruts and wash under a foot deep, a rock garden section, and a couple of muddy sections. As you travel the trail, you will come to a swampy pond area, and this is where the trail gets a little muddy. Once past that, the trail is still two-track but dries out and has dispersed camping pull-offs. The trail will gradually climb to the end, which is a wider spot near the summit of Dollar Mountain with a walking trail to the top. Cell phone service was weak, and you are over an hour from the nearest supplies and services. Most vehicles should be able to traverse this trail, but a high clearance 4x4 is recommended.

Difficulty
This is a narrow, two-track forest road that ends just before the summit of the mountain. There are rock garden sections, ruts and wash, and a good-sized mud hole, so high clearance 4x4 is recommended.
