Trail Overview
So many Alamo roads. This one is labeled as new, even though it's still dirt and full of washboard except for some sections where it crosses the washes. The wash crossings sand can be pretty firm, but some sections were softer and deeper. Be aware of the rainy and monsoon seasons, and do not attempt to cross a flowing wash when it is running. Levels can rise rapidly. Be aware of roaming Burros on the trail and other desert wildlife. A keen eye may even spot a bald eagle. The Northern section of this trail is a part of the Arizona Peace Trail but cuts East about halfway, just south of a cattle guard. With 2 bars LTE cell service.
Difficulty
Easy washboard Two lanes wide, some sandy washes may be loose
