Trail Overview

This beautiful forested road rides alongside the North Fork of Tilton River. Leading deeper into the forest. Gentle roads become rougher and more pitted the deeper you travel. Pull off on one of the many side roads and find butterflies dancing on the wildflowers. Camping spots seem to come out of nowhere along this tucked-away road.

Difficulty

Trail starts off gentle but becomes rocky with large pot holes further along.

Muddy/Wet
We started on Forest RD 71 and made our way through to this trail to wrap up our route. Many trails and look outs we came across. We found a tiny bit of snow that was nearly melted. Great views along the way, we found a few muddy puddles where we got our gladiator nice and dirty. Some waterfalls as well. Lots of active logging and spotty signal so download maps ahead of time. We couldn’t find access to the river for lunch but fun day over all.

Access Description
