Trail Overview
While this road boasts beautiful views, access to hiking trails, and other opportunities to explore, the pin-striping and steep drops may deter the average full-width driver. This road starts off as a well-maintained gravel road before growing rougher and narrow as it winds its way up to Kennedy Ridge. After the Kennedy Creek trailhead, the road narrows significantly and enters an area of steep cliffs and tight turns with little to no opportunities to turn around or pass.
Difficulty
Most of this road is narrow well-maintained gravel with occasional rocks and ruts. The difficulty increases significantly after the Kennedy Creek trailhead and full width vehicles will likely not be able to navigate the cliff edges and debris.
