Trail Overview

This is a fairly short route that branches off from Nehalem River Road, taking you to the beautiful Lost Lake in the Oregon Coast Range. The road can get pretty washer boarded with some pot holes but is still accessible by most vehicles. Just past the lake, you will find a few landing areas to camp with outstanding views of the coast range. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and steelhead.

Difficulty

Road is an easy drive but does come to sections wide enough for one vehicle.

Gravel trail, which was in pretty good condition. It was foggy and wet, but not muddy. We saw one group camping past the lake, but other than that no one was on the trail. Great views from the top of the peak.
