Madison County Road 247 is a smooth-sailing gravel road over rolling hills amongst the pines. At its entrance point with MO-72, you can see for miles. The road follows this with a scenic route going through Mark Twain National Forest, giving a quick taste of the wild and adventure surrounding it, but this is all backed by being the road that leads to the thrilling adventures of the area.

Come to the intersection of MO-72 and Madison County 247, at 37.51633, -90.14517, head south and you will meet gravel shortly. Note: In other trails of the local area, there maybe reference to this road as "Bo-Co Road 247" due to similar county road signage and proximity to the county lines.
