Trail Overview
Blacksmith Road is a one-way trail starting at the southeast corner of Landing Zone 5 and connecting back to the east end of the same area. This easy trail offers flat terrain through a wooded area, making it a straightforward and enjoyable route for most vehicles. Midway through the trail, there are a few tight turns that may require extra caution for longer wheelbase or full-size vehicles. While the trail features a few spots that hold water, these are normally less than 18 inches deep and have a firm bottom, minimizing the risk of getting stuck. At the trail's end, there is a rutted section that provides an opportunity to test suspension flex for those interested.
