Clear Lake Road

Trail Overview

The Clear Lake Road is a well-maintained, graded gravel road accessible by all vehicles. The east end of the road is located in the town of Flowell, Utah, which is west of Fillmore, Utah. There are no services in Flowell. Fillmore will be the best option for fuel or other amenities. The west end of the road pops out on State Route 257 just south of milepost 54. Off the Clear Lake Road, many offshoot roads allow you to explore the whole desert, making it one of the main arteries in the area. Some of the main points of interest are the Clear Lake Historical Townsite, Clear Lake Wildlife Refuge, Devil's Kitchen Petroglyphs, and Pahvant Butte.
