Trail Overview
License Plate Required! Riverbend Trail is a beautiful off-road trail located within the Cadillac Forest Management Unit. The trail starts just like any other dirt trail, but man, does it give you some epic sights, and ends at a pretty epic dispersed campsite. The pine trees and ferns in this area are worth coming to check out alone. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail, including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Come prepared! Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Be sure to soak up the gorgeous landscape around this area and take a dip in the water! This is an awesome trail for all to enjoy, with other great trails close by! If you plan on dispersed camping, PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY, and seek more information at the local DNR Office/Ranger Station before camping here. Regardless of the conditions, this is a great trail for everyone to enjoy!
