Rescue in Action
These are real scenarios from existing OxR subscribers.
Remote Rescue in Baja
A rider in Baja was severely dehydrated, fell of his bike, and couldn’t back on. Out of water and far from help, he sent an SOS with a satellite-enabled device. OxR spent five hours coordinating with multiple agencies before the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) was able to help deploy Bomberos del Ayuntamiento de Tecate. The firefighters faced rocky, remote terrain while OxR maintained contact and even coordinate flashlight signals to help rescuers find the rider.
After a 10-hour operation, rescuers located the rider and transported him to a hospital.

Minor Injuries, Major PITA
A couple’s vehicle veered off the road in Okanogan County, Washington. OxR
made multiple attempts to contact the subscriber and emergency contacts, eventually reaching a companion at
the scene who reported minor injuries but no need for urgent medical care.
OxR successfully contacted Okanogan County 911, who dispatched officers, provided a courtesy ride, and tended to the couple’s minor wounds.
