Trail Overview

Trail W29 is a 3.3-mile easy trail with shelf sections, smooth terrain, and occasional mud puddles and ruts. The route offers scenic views through the trees along the mountainside and includes wide corners, though drivers should remain alert for oncoming traffic. After climbing up the first mile, it comes up to an overlook with a big Adirondack chair that's fun to see. From here, it rides a scenic ridgeline for the majority of the remaining route, with a few more pronounced ruts to watch out for. The route is mostly smooth; most rocks have been pushed to the sides. The trail ends at its northern intersection with Trails 32 and 44.
