This is a gravel road with many primitive camping spots and beautiful views of the mountains around you. It's not technical, but it's a great trail to be out in nature and even find time to camp along the trail. There is a small creek that you'll see in the beginning.

We entered the trail from the southern point and drove all the way through. It was snowing lightly and the trail was packed with snow, but definitely manageable with competent driving.

The trail was open. I came in from the north entrance, some logging operations, but nothing obstructing the trail. However, when I got to the south entrance, the gate was locked, which meant I had to backtrack the whole way back. No idea why they would leave one gate open, and the other gate lockedand I don’t expect that there’s any logic to it.

Basically a dirt road with a few tight turns. We did find an offshoot where they built a road for clearing trees. That was a fun little jaunt. Went 4Hi to climb out. Otherwise any car could do this road.

Wouldn’t call this an off roading trail. Just a gravel road.
