Trail Overview

IB 76 is a short 230-yard spur located adjacent to the more difficult IB 86. This route features a rocky hill climb from the west end, with embedded rock layers and plenty of loose rock throughout. Drivers will encounter a couple tight switchbacks partway up the climb, though there's extra room at the edge of the corners to take it wide and cut into the turn. There's often embedded slickrock layers extending halfway into the trail, which can be slippery in wet conditions. While not as technically severe as IB 86, this spur still requires skill and caution due to the loose, rocky terrain and elevation change.
