DA 134 begins with a steep but winding climb from DA 131 through dense forest, featuring low-hanging branches, muddy ruts, and occasional slick downed limbs. The upper portion is mostly fast and flowy, though traction can be challenging in wet conditions. About halfway through, the trail transitions into a wide, smooth pipeline road that continues easily south to its connection with DA 153, offering a mix of easy single track and easy transfer terrain.
