CR 25/2 - Beury Mountain Road

The trail was easy in a stock F150. NEVER had to put in 4 WD. There are a few rocky areas, but from what we experienced it DOES NOT require high clearance and any truck, Jeep or suv can handle it with a little skill. Except for a couple of miles near Thurmond which are narrow the road is plenty wide and easy to pass another vehicle. There are a few other trails along the route including one to the actual Beury Mtn. that looked interesting, but we didn't take them. Beautiful scenery, a bear and a few dear it's a nice 11/2 hour to 2 hour ride even with stopping several times to look around......Nice ride!

If you’re looking to kill some time I recommend this trail you get to go through a good part of southern West Virginia where there’s some history. There are some mud holes and there’s some very light ruts Also, you will come across wildlife
