Trail Overview
Enjoy a scenic drive over Beury Mountain. You will have a beautiful view of The New River along with exposed rock faces as you go up the mountain out of Thurmond. As you crest the top of the mountain you will see numerous boulders lying on the forest floor and maybe some wildlife like deer and turkey. This is mainly a single-track road with pull-offs to let oncoming vehicles pass.
