Trail Overview
BM 89 is a short but demanding route in the Buffalo Mountain Trail System, featuring a narrow, rutted descent from the southern entrance through steep, rutted, loose-rock switchbacks. Low branches and tight turns add to the technical challenge. The trail then climbs back up through similarly steep and deeply rutted switchbacks, with rocks filling the troughs. Conditions can become particularly slick when wet, and would make this trail significantly more difficult, making this trail best suited for experienced riders.
