B15 starts in the town of Logan at the end of Cole Street, offering easy access to fuel, food, and lodging. It is an easy access corridor that parallels a ravine, then climbs up the hillsides. The trail is smooth with no major obstacles but includes spots with more rock, ruts, and steeper sections. The surface consists of black coal dirt, where the smell of coal is noticeable. The trail features waterbars, wide sections, and gradual switchbacks climbing up to the ridge with embedded flat rock slabs. Overall, it is an easy trail suitable for most drivers.

Access Description

The Bearwallow Trail System is located near the ATV-friendly town of Logan, West Virginia, with direct access to gas, food, and lodging. Known for a mix of easy scenic trails and extreme trails, Bearwallow is one of the more popular trail systems within the broader Hatfield McCoy network. The trailhead has a two-acre parking lot, restrooms, and permit sales. Permits are available only through local vendors or onsite facilities and are valid through December 31 of the purchase year.
