Trail Overview

A short trail that takes you to an awesome camp spot near a small waterfall and creek. Old-growth type forest lines the trail and the last section to the camp spot is lined with ferns. Decent spot for a few vehicles and is very secluded. Beautiful all year and even better in the snow. The trail is an easy fire road but crosses over a little rut and climbs a bit into the campsite.

Trail is a fire road for 95 percent but then you turn onto a tight trail that begins with a rut and you need to clip up a little to the camp spot. Does get very muddy when it rains and there is snow in the winter but not very deep.

Access Description

French Creek Road is the name of the trail right off Highway 530. Follow about 3.5 miles until you get to the small trail to the campsite on the left, which is not marked.
