Trail Overview

This trail winds through a thick forest and carries a rating of 1. There are no obstacles, except for cattle standing in the middle of the path without any need to move. Many trail areas are shaded, providing a nice break from the blazing sun of Nanaeum Ridge State Forest. Although there were no riders on the trail, it was quite dusty, so wearing a bandana to minimize dust is recommended.

Access Description

Take Exit 115 to Kittitas. Head west on 1st Avenue toward Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street, then turn left onto Patrick Avenue. Next, turn right onto Fairview Road, turn left onto Radar Road, and finally turn right onto Naneum Road. There is a large pullout where you can camp in the Naneum Ridge State Forest. Be on the lookout for free-range cattle, as they are common in the area and are generally accustomed to vehicles. Usually, they will stay in place, so be sure to drive slowly around any livestock you encounter.
