Trail Overview
Dirt-based forest road that is narrow and one lane wide with few places to pass. The trail quickly becomes a shelf road with switchbacks and ledges/dropoffs. The trail climbs steadily with a 14% pitch in one area and ends where a rock slide has fallen onto the trail. The trail travels through an old burn area, so expect downed trees. Cell phone service was nonexistent, and there are no amenities on the trail. It would be helpful to download the offline map and travel with all needed supplies and a satellite communication device if possible. The nearest services are 45 minutes away in the town of Winthrop. Any vehicle should be able to traverse this trail.
