Trail Overview

As an alternative mountain route, this is a seven-mile loop through the forest. The Northern section is immensely overgrown and narrow, with fallen trees on/over trail likely, and where pin-striping from brushing vegetation is guaranteed. The trail itself is not technical or difficult and is 2WD capable. Occasional erosion damage and bumpy section will be encountered. At one point there is a break in the trees to offer views of the surrounding wilderness. Beaver Lake Trailhead is accessible from the southern section of the trail, where the trail is not nearly as overgrown. There is no cell service in this area. It is unmaintained (closed) in the winter and early spring months.
