Trail Overview
This 3.2-mile out-and-back trail forks off of the Summit Lake trailhead road and gives access to both Coplay and East Lake. There is a campground with pit toilets at Coplay Lake. A portion of this trail takes you into the surrounding forest with dispersed camping spots. There is a small rock outcropping along this trail that gives four different 4WD lines to climb for an optional obstacle. This trail is passable by AWD and 4WD vehicles.

Loose rocks and tight packed dirt across most of the road with a few large rocks, recommend high clearance. Some sections have low hanging branches 6-10ft above ground. Single lane in most spots, no obstructions.

Made it to the lake. Once you reach Coplay Lake, if you keep going and went down the right of the fork road, you will reach East Lake. The road there has space enough for 1 car. Road is rocky, a few potholes but not as many as North Fork road.

Seasonal Closure
From the Summit Lake Trail Head road you are stopped about 1/2 from the lake due to ice and snow on the road. Sections still have 24" of snow in the corners. If I were you I would wait for another few weeks until the snow clears. Also, the area has a decent number of shady characters, so eyes up.
