Trail Overview

This is a major excursion route from Chewelah, 57 miles north to the Beaver Lodge, located in the Little Pend Oreille lakes recreation area. It is paved road out of the Chewelah area up to the national forest. At the forest boundary, the road is gravel from there on. This is an easy route for novice riders, except for the distance. Major obstacle during the summer months is dust. Following storms, there will be mud puddles, and some short zones of muddy road.
