Trail Overview
Bohinckleman Road is a 3-mile point-to-point trail connecting Skookumchuck Crossover Road (identified as Homestead Trail on OnX) to the Wildhorse Wind Farm. A non-hunting recreational permit, available at www.pse.com/wildhorse, is required for wind farm access. The trail follows a ridgeline offering panoramic views of the wind farm to the west, the town of Quincy to the northeast, and the Saddle Mountains to the south. The trail surface varies from hard-packed dirt to rock, featuring several rutted sections and one small rock step as depicted in the photographs. Bohinckleman Road is subject to a seasonal closure from February 1st through April 30th. Note: Photographs begin at the intersection with Skookumchuck Crossover Road in the east and conclude at the gated entrance to the wind farm.

Difficulty
This trail features several sections with ruts and a small rock step. Numerous rocks are present throughout the route. Low clearance vehicles may encounter challenges navigating the rock step. Adverse weather conditions, such as rain or snow, can significantly increase the difficulty and may render the trail impassable. Due to the rocks, a patch kit or spare tire is highly recommended.
