Trail Overview
Tuckaho Road is a short, 0.9-mile gravel road managed by the U.S. Forest Service within George Washington National Forest. The surface is smooth and well-maintained, suitable for full-width 4x4 vehicles, high-clearance rigs, SxS, ATVs, dirt bikes, and even non-4x4 vehicles. There are no major obstacles or water crossings along the route, and grades remain mild throughout. Limited cell service is available in most areas with Verizon coverage. Staging is possible near the start of the trail, though there are residential homes at the start of the trail. The area sees light vehicle traffic, primarily from other off-highway users accessing nearby routes. No campsites, bathrooms, or notable viewpoints are located along the road.
