True to its name, Rollercoaster Road is an exhilarating, two-track gravel "out-and-back" that mirrors the rhythm of the Norfolk Southern Railroad. This trail earns its reputation with a series of intense climbs, sudden drops, and winding turns that make you feel like you're riding the rails of a backcountry coaster. Once you reach the end, you can turn around and experience the thrills all over again from the opposite direction. Please note: Cell service is very limited in this area, so be sure to download your maps for offline use before you head out.
