OP 8 is a very short, flat connector in the Original Pocahontas trail system in Virginia. The trail is wide with mildly uneven ground but no obstacles, making it an easy and accessible segment. It links OP 61 and OP 6--both similarly easy trails--and serves as a smooth transitional route for creating varied loops through the system.
