Trail Overview

CC55 is an easy 1.1-mile trail near Grundy, Virginia, accessed from CC48. It follows a narrow shelf path cut into the hillside, tracing the natural curve of the mountain. The trail is generally smooth and gradual, with occasional sections of loose or embedded rock. While not steep, drivers should be cautious of the narrow width and potential downed logs along the route.
