Trail Overview

Leave just outside of the town of Wallsburg. The trail goes to Strawberry Peak with views of Deer Creek and Strawberry Reservoir. Ride to Twin Peaks and the tower, then head down to Daniel's Summit Lodge. It's a good stop for restrooms, snacks, or lunch at the restaurant. The trail returns to Wallsburg.

Leaving Wallsburg going clockwise, the trail was really rocky. Once you crest the summit the highway 40 side of the loop is beautiful. !!!CAUTION!!!: There are several points on the road back to Wallsburg with unmarked bypasses that also don't show on this app that you'll want to take, sections of the road are pretty washed out and impassable and to finish the loop. The last section for us coming out down Little canyon was great, water crossings were fun and wet

Midway up the trail snow was too thick on both north and south sides of the trail.
