Trail Overview

UT-153 is a main access road during the summertime from Junction, Utah, up into the Fishlake National Forest. This track shows where the dirt road begins, just 5 miles outside of Junction. UT-153 climbs over 2,000 feet in this section of the road, and it extends across the top of the mountains and over to Beaver, Utah, on the west end. The track ends at some of the fabulous trails around Puffer Lake and Kent's Lakes. UT-153 is used by logging trucks going in and out with loads, campers, vehicles, as well as SXSs, quads, and dirt bikes. Use extreme caution on the sharp hairpin turns as you zig-zag up the mountain. It's a good road in the summertime, but it's closed in the winter. The views of the valley below are magnificent. To legally off-road in Utah, you're required to have the online education course certificate and an OHV sticker.
