Trail Overview
Strawberry Ridge (FR70135) is a fairly calm trail with some pretty views and interesting wildlife. The road is wide enough for one vehicle, with places to pass and turn around now and then. Watch for culverts that cut across the road. They can sometimes be up to 12 inches deep, but because of the angles into the culverts, they aren't much of a problem. The south east side of the trail is mostly red sand. In this area, there are some very large humps, several feet in height. At slower speeds, these should be easy to navigate over as the approach and departure angles are quite shallow. The rest of the trail is mostly rock and dirt, but overall well-maintained. There are sections, especially on the west end of the trail, that are high shelf roads.
