Trail Overview

This is a fast and flowy desert singletrack that connects the staging area for Mel's Loop to the Westwater Trail System. It's mostly ridden as a connector trail, but it's also really fun and has some technical sections of rock slab ledges. It starts as a narrow dirt trail through grasslands on rolling hillsides, through sagebrush, and then winds through rocky desert terrain with loose rock and small ravines. It crosses several roads and ends at the Overlook Trail in the Westwater Trail System with a spectacular view of the canyon. There are lots of whoops on this trail, and it's really well-marked each time it crosses a road.

Difficulty

This trial doesn't have any overly challenging obstacles, just several small ledges, and lots of whoops. It's an easy to moderate difficulty consistently throughout the trail.
