Trail Overview

Expect to see many campsites to choose from that are either tucked away in the trees in the higher elevation areas, or in some flat grassy areas near the lake in lower elevations. The road is pretty well maintained. In wet conditions, there are many puddles and deep ruts that form. There are also a couple of places with some rough rocky spots, although not technical. This road leads to many other trail systems and could be used as part of a loop.

The road was muddy in a lot of places, but was no problem in 4wd. Was really pretty this time of year

Small snow drifts that have been plowed through, some mud, if continuing on to Strawberry Ridge at the top, it is immediately covered in a snowdrift that hasn’t been plowed through.

Access Description

This trail is very easy to find. There is what looks to be a trailhead sign but it no longer has the plaque on it. It is right off the main highway.
