Trail Overview

This trail branches off of Mill Creek and heads up into the mountains to the scenic Lym Lake. Lym Lake sits at about 10,100 feet in elevation and is a popular spot to visit to recreate at the lake. The road leading to the lake is rough and rocky with a few steeper sections and is wide enough for one vehicle with places to pass. Along the way to Lym Lake there is a unmarked turnoff at mile point 1.5 which leads to a small area to pull off and walk across the creek to Mill Creek Cabin. This trail is open from May 1st to December 15th but may be closed for longer depending on when they open North Slope Road and when the snow melts off.
