Trail Overview

Lost World is an 8-mile point-to-point trail. This trail has both sandy sections and sections of sandstone. The sandy sections have a combination of whoops and tank traps up to 18" in depth. The sandstone sections have a combination of small ledges up to 14 inches in height and short steep sandstone ramps. At approx. 3.7 miles on the trail is the first set of sandstone ramps, which require low-range 4WD. At 6.3 miles on the trail is a series of small ledges between 10 inches to 14 inches in height to negotiate. Lost World is an excellent trail for the beginning off-roader to increase their confidence in the vehicle and their skills.

Difficulty

This trail has several short steep sandstone grades. There is a section of small ledges between 10 inches to 14 inches in height. Sand whoops and tank traps up to 18 inches in depth.

Access Description

From State Route 313 turn on to CR137. Follow CR137 and turn left onto CR338 (Spring Canyon Point trail). From here there is an easier route or more difficult route you can take. Easier route is to follow CR338 and turn right on to CR337 which takes you to the start of Lost World. The more difficult route is to follow CR338 and turn right on to the Rainbow Terrace trail which connects to the start of Lost World.
