Trail Overview

This trail runs mostly east to west from Highway 72 to Sheep Valley. The eastern end is easy and maintained fairly well. It is suitable for towing camp trailers, and you'll find several spots to camp along the route. This area is grassy with beautiful quaking aspen.

I came in from Red Creek road. The road on top was rough but it improved a lot after driving down the switchbacks. There were a few people camped nearby but I never did pass another vehicle on the road until hitting pavement.
