Trail Overview
Hell Hole Pass Road is accessed along Highway 91. The road is well-maintained on the South side of the Beaver Dam Mountains. After crossing over the top and starting to descend on the North Side. The road is not maintained as well. In the early Spring, there are several locations where water runs down the loose rocky road. The road ascends from 4600 feet to over 6200 at the pass. The area is mostly Dedar trees and other desert-like plants. Be sure to take advantage of the beautiful views while ascending to the pass.

Difficulty
When descending from the pass down the North side of the mountain. The road is not maintained and crosses or uses the creek bed. In the early Spring, Snow melt water will be flowing down the road. This can cause road erosion making caution a necessity.
