Trail Overview
Horseshoe Canyon takes you deep into one of the most visually striking canyons in the region. The trail winds through a dramatic landscape filled with towering rock formations and vibrant layers of red, gray, purple, and brown stone. Sandy sections with scattered small rocks lead you in and out of a series of washes, framed by green desert brush and trees. The route includes a few sandy areas and small drop-offs that could challenge stock vehicles, especially if wet conditions are present. The vivid geology and sculpted canyon walls make every mile worth the drive.
